Technical Center
The Technical Center of Shandong Taikai High Voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd. is a provincial enterprise technology center certified by the Shandong Provincial Commission of Economic and Information. The Technical Center comprises an expert committee, a technical committee, research and development department, testing laboratory, and two technical sub-centers for electrical mechanisms and electrical insulation. It has the design, development, testing, and inspection capabilities for circuit breakers, combined apparatus, supporting operating mechanisms, and insulating components with voltage levels up to 1100kV.
Adhering to the company’s philosophy of “being people-oriented”, the Technical Center has introduced and cultivated a group of high-educated, high-quality, and high-capacity scientific and technological management personnel. Currently, the Technical Center has more than 190 professional and technical personnel, including 9 senior engineers, 61 engineers, 28 engineering and technical personnel with a master’s degree or above, and over 110 dedicated personnel engaged in new product development. The Technical Center conducts extensive cooperation and exchanges with well-known domestic universities and research institutions, serving as internship training bases for universities such as Xi’an Jiaotong University, Shandong University, and North China Electric Power University, and is in the process of establishing post-doctoral mobile stations.
The Technical Center is equipped with complete and sophisticated hardware and software facilities, with various testing equipment, test analysis instruments, and research and testing equipment reaching the domestic leading level, providing a good scientific research and development foundation. In recent years, the Technical Center has jointly developed more than 20 new products, among which the ZF16-550/Y5000-63 SF6 Gas-Insulated Metal-Enclosed Switchgear was listed as a “National Key New Product” by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and the ZF-145/3150-40 Gas-insulated Metal-enclosed Switchgear was listed as a “National Torch Program Project” by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. The Technical Center has obtained 350 national patents, including 21 invention patents (12 of which have been certified, and 9 are currently under public notice). The Technical Center has participated in the formulation of 12 national standards.
The Technical Center has two high-voltage shielded test halls, equipped with various test and inspection instruments such as a 3600kV/360kJ impulse test generator, 1500kV/1A no partial discharge AC withstand test equipment, partial discharge testers, mechanical characteristic testers, trace moisture testers, and SF6 gas leak detectors. It can complete the full set of insulation test items, main circuit resistance and temperature rise test items, switch mechanical characteristic detection items, SF6 gas quality and leak detection for high-voltage switchgear equipment up to 1,100kV and below, providing reliable guarantees for new product development.
