The 220kV GIS is a new generation of GIS developed by Shandong Taikai High Voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd. based on extensive market research both domestically and internationally, combined with the development direction of GIS and summarizing and drawing on advanced design concepts of GIS at home and abroad. It complies with the national standard GB7674-2008 Gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear for rated voltages of 72.5 kV and above and meets the International Electrotechnical Commission standard IEC60517 High Voltage Enclosed Switchgear and Control Equipment.

The components inside meet the requirements of their respective national standards. Its structure is main busbars of three phases in a common enclosure while other components in seperate enclosure for 3150A and 4000A. The 5000A scheme is a complete three phases in a common enclosure type. It is suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz power systems with the rated voltage of 252kV.
Product Features:
1. Newly designed compact GIS, with a minimum bay width of 2.1m. The product’s performance is leading domestically.
2. The circuit breaker equipped with this product adopts the self-blasting arc extinguishing principle of "gas pressure + thermal expansion", with strong breaking ability, short arcing time, full breaking time of 2 cycles, long electrical life, full capacity breaking 20 times, and simple and reliable structure.
3. The circuit breaker is equipped with a hydraulic spring mechanism or spring mechanism, with a simple and compact structure, high reliability, low maintenance workload, and a mechanical life of up to 10,000 times.
4. Large-power hydraulic spring mechanisms are used for main transformer and busbar coupling bays to achieve three-phase mechanical interlocking operation.
5. The GIS enclosure is made of aluminum alloy material, with lightweight, small foundation load requirements, strong corrosion resistance, low eddy current loss, and low enclosure temperature rise.
6. Radio interference level is less than 500uV, suitable for installation in urban and residential areas.
7. Strong environmental adaptability, suitable for harsh environments such as severe pollution, heavy fog, hail-prone areas, high-altitude and seismic areas, as well as congested urban areas and mountainous hydropower stations with difficult earth and rock excavation.
8. Strong flexibility, can be combined into various wiring methods such as single bus, bridge connection, double buses, etc., according to user requirements.
9. Except for outgoing bushings and some branch busbars, GIS can be transported as a whole bay, greatly reducing on-site installation workload and construction period.
10. GIS can be installed both indoors and outdoors, demonstrating strong adaptability.
